Starting and finishing at The Ocoee Whitewater Center, site of the 1996 Olympic whitewater competition, will be a Marathon and Half Marathon trail run on some of the most challenging and beautiful trails in the Cherokee National Forest. The course offers nearly 5000 vertical feet of climbing on single and double track for the half. The White Water Center is located on the Ocoee Scenic Byway (U.S. 64) about 5 miles west of Ducktown, Tenn. Just 2 hours from Atlanta and 1.5 hours from Chattanooga. Campsites are available on first come basis.
